What do you all do if you want to go to a show/x-country/dressage comp and don't have a trailor? How do you all get about?
Showing but no transport.

If its not within hacking distance I hire a 3.5 ton horsebox from a local company. It costs about £70 plus diesel & entry fees etc. so I don't go very often...it has to be a worth while trip.
Last year when he had to go back & forth to the vets I had a couple of very nice friends who took him for me, but I don't really like asking other people, because he's a bad traveller and I have been let down last minute by people.

we hire one (a lady tows for us or my dad tows)
