Hello again and thankyou for the nice welcome from forum members. I have a dartmor gelding and a small LR/FR jockey we are looking for showing clinics in area that do not charge the earth. Also need tips on what to wear when doing LR me not jockey who has Pretty ponies hacking jacket with blue collar or Blue show Jacket. Help please as do n <font color="blue"> </font> ot want to look out of place.

if your dartmor gelding is registered then you can do affliated m&amp;m lead rein classes. You should aways have tweed with a m&amp;m. make sure that you are dressed smartly idealy you want to match your child. pony should be going well idealy on a contact and independantly from you (ie voice activated!!) to achieve this you need to practise at home you dont even need pony try to get pony to stay about a foot away from you turn right and turn left when you ask with out you having to push and pull always attach leather lead rein to ponies noseband bridle should be plain no pretty browbands with a snaffle bit, if i can be any more help please ask
 
Thanks Lisa2many ponies, Rocket is registered but he gets sweetitch and rubs his mane so it is short and we plait it. He is a very nice dartmoor and we are hoping to do WHP if I can find a tiny cradle stakes to start with. Thanks for the tips I think I lack confidnce really and a fat wallet !.
 
I know of several natives with sweet itch, that have full manes and tails and are shown at a high level, so you could manage it, with Boett or other make of full rugs, such as snuggy hoods. Good luck, I live on Dartmoor, and as well as showing my Highlands, show my friends Darties.
 
my section c has very bad sweet itch she was champion section c at south of england last year you need fly rug electric fence feed lots of garlic and limit turn out falling that plait it and show as show hunter lr remeber to trim legs and face and pull tail if you do this. please ask it i can help i will
