Heya!

I have a 14.2hh welsh cob who has just turned 4 in July. He has done very well showing inhand and I have just started showing him ridden. We qualified to go to the royal london show this year and im really excited (only 14)! The only thing im worried about is what to wear. I wear beige jods, jodpur boots and clips and a tweed jacket with a yellow tie.

What should I wear at the Royal London Show for daytime and evening???

Please help!

Hiya - I'm afraid your picture isn't working for me.

You need:
Navy velvet hat, hairnet, brown gloves, cane, long black boots or gaitors, spurs (or dummy ones)
Beige/canary jobs, tweed jacket (green or brown), shirt and tie.

pony needs:
plain brown tack - he's classed as a novice so a snaffle would be fine. And a saddle of gp style saddle and dark coloured girth with discreet numnah which is the same colour as the saddle.

Evening wear, pony needs same tack, you need a navy wool jacket and white/cream shirt/stock.

Good luck!

Well Done
As above for the turnout ,maybe you can borrow? anything you dont have.
Most MandM classes {I am assuming that is what you are doing as cannot see picture] will NOT allow spurs so do check the rules.
Otherwise Good Luck and have Fun.

we show welsh cobs def no spurs ever on any mm
long boots/gaiters in black look better but you are ok as child with short boots jods beige or canary shirt any colour to contrast with jacket tweed and tie ,gloves brown ,most people use wh saddles for showing mms or show saddles gp saddles cover too much shoulder use gp if all you have but please avoid dressage saddles for showing they are just wrong dont look right at all evening you can wear day wear or top hat check age for useing one and black jacket if you want good luck hun its a lovley show

Hey, thanks for ure answer but unfortunately due how young he is we decided not to take him. I no longer have him anymore cause of yard issues. X
