Really quick random question....

Havanna leather girth........ acceptable for showing my bay maxi cob I was showing at beginning of the week?

Also would 54" fit do you recon?

Thanks! :)

I would say that'd be fine, as long as its similar colour to him, and doesn't look like he's cut in half (eg if you had a white numnah it'd cut him in half!) :) Have no idea of size though!!

Here is a picture of him at a show last easter:

So it wouldn't cut him in half as we have a show numnah under the saddle whihc you can hardly see.............

Hopefully pic will help people help me guestimate if it would fit hime at 54"..........

Thank you! :)

oo sorry also just to add, I have a havanna show bridle for him now, so that isnt a problem........

It was just I thought havanna girth would look better than a black one.... yes i know the saddle is black but until I own him (**dreams**) I won't be shelling out for one I am afraid! :)

Girth should be the same colour as the horse, so brown preferably! and Balding if you have one. Have you got a nice wide flat niseband on your new bridle? Thats the most obvious improvement to make from your pic.

Good luck with the owning!!

ye the girth is balding.

Yes the new bridle is havanna, flat wide (not a 2" one, I think its 1.5ish..........) noseband and flat wide browband.

Thank you, the owning is in 12 months unfortuantly, but he is going to be close to the top of the list for interest for me depending on how much YO wants for him! :(
