I have a 13.2hh youngster to make 14hh. I want to do in hand colorued classes next year aswell as driving classes and have so far shown him au natural, and although a couple of people said i should leave him with flowing locks (his mane was over 1ft long when i got him) i think he suits a shorter mane much better.

I am re-clipping this weekend and wondeed whether i should pull his mane and tail and trim off his feathers at the same time, then plait for showing ? He is of unknown breeding and is blue and white, probably some welsh in there and cob possibly ? has 8 inches of bone.

What do you think ?

Id clip everything off and show him as PB welsh :D so feathers off mane pulled and tail pulled and a hunter bridle, Basically the same as I showed K :)

Best class would be PC pony/hunter pony or if he jumps working hunter :)

is this the same pony thats on hamlets house? I think its up to personally preference. He will suit a "native type" or a shp. If you were to show him as a native, i would show him a bit "welshie" with a pulled tail and feather it shorter. Either way you can still show him as a pbw if he is reg
