Showing Heavy horses..... question

im showing in-hand a friends clydsdale, does anybody know if im allowed to carry any short of whip or cane (mare hasnt had much practice, bit if shown a whip will trot, i am working on this but just in case )

ALSO
what is the correct dress for handler?

were talking inbetween local level and county level.

ive no idea what the actual class is, friend roped me in as they hadnt had much success getting her to trot!

owner is clued up on turn out for the mare

Safety joddy boots! Case she treads on your toes then!
You could use a side saddle cane, or a dealer whip with the thong removed.
 
LOL ! she has no shoes on..... ive been teaching her to keep her should by me, so if i incase pace/turn etc she follows. im not entirley sure how when in 5"1 im ment to run a heavy.... still it will be a nice day out and my torture shouldnt last to long!

does any body know whats correct/acceptable turn out for myself? has been thinking black trousers white shirt black jacket (not a show jacket)
 
Go onto the clydesdale horse society website, they should have something on there or at least a few pictures you could study.

I have seen some of the Clydesdale showing people in white coats like doctors, so it might be an idea to check.
