Hi all

I'm taking Willow to her first show on Sunday and am planning on taking her in the youngstock class. I am showing her au natural as she's a traditional and have ordered her a flat hunter style inhand bridle (showing with the lead attached to the noseband) as she has outgrown the filly slips and is in a pony size headcollar/bridle)

Should her beard be trimmed?

I am also thinking of taking my boyfriends 16.1 appaloosa gelding.

He was gelded 2 years ago and still goes in to stallion mode at times so I'm going to put some red ribbon in his tail. As his tail will be pulled, do I just tie it around a piece of hair in his tail?? I am getting someone to plait his mane for me as I'm useless at bundling/sewing!!

Also, I was thinking of showing in black trousers, light blue shirt, navy waistcoat, navy and white tie or navy with yellow stars tie, black velvet hat, black gloves and black cane or inhand whip. Is this correct?
