Hi i am thinking about showing my yearling and was looking for some advice with the classes he could compete in and what the turnout would be for both him and I. I am happy with the coloured class as i show my mare in this. He is a gelding and will be two next april, he is a cross tb type x ID i think cant remember exactly here are some photos hopefully

Local unaffiliated showing wise at the moment I'd think you'll be mainly be restricted by his age as most 'type' classes are usually aimed at horses 4yrs and over. For the future though reckon he could do well in sport horse classes perhaps and of course coloureds :D I find it interesting that you still don't often see coloureds in hunter, riding horse classes....
 
Depends how he moves as well. We show ours in sport horse classes and some in hunter youngstock classes. I think at local level I would say do whatever you can! If you show at coloured shows ( under CHAPS or BSPA banner) he can do loads as they are split into type and age classes

he moves nicely, yes chaps he's in the opposite to my mare so this also helps haha thanks for the advice
