Hi, I've just entered my mare in a local ridden coloured class. I currently ride her in a Micklem bridle with a snaffle bit. Will this be acceptable at local level?

All I would say is that you may be placed lower than you would have had if you were in more traditional attire, that being said - hope she goes well and you have a lovely day

Thanks LJR - I do have a spare bridle that is just a plain cavesson.... Would this be ok with a snaffle bit?

depending what type your horse is. A dainty hack/RC horse wearign a 2" noseband wouldnt really work!
