Showing in a section you sponsor?

My local show has scrapped miniatures cause there was only 5 horses last year. A few of us have asked them to put it back on, but less classes (cause half of them are not needed anyway!) and i have offered to sponsor if they need it. I love this show only because it is a very quiet show in a field, with little traffic as all the horses are on a different part of the field so perfect for first time people and horses (like my filly!)

But if i do have to sponsor it can i still in good taste show in the youngstock class?

Yes you can, a lot of people do and as the judge should not know who is sponsoring nor should they know the names of those in the classes there should not be bias.

If people didnt sponsor shows there would be no shows!

Ok great, thats settled my inner conflict lol i really hope they put the section back in, it would be a terrible loss to the few of us who do bother to show - i can't afford to go to ireland for their bigger shows with just one filly this year!
