showing in hand what do i wear !!

hi i am showing for the first time in hand with my spotty shetland and i dont know what to wear i have some idea but people say i cannot wear joddies but others say i can and the same with show jackets and alll that please if you would explain to me what i can and cannot wear please. i am 14 if that changes anything. thanks

white shirt , tie, waist coat or showing jacket , depending on colour of pony light trousers for dark legs on ponies ie cream with black legs . or black trousers with white legs ,

For a local show, you'd be fine wearing a tweed jacket with jods, if you want to be a bit more 'proper', you'd wear tweed or a waistcoat plus trousers.

Okai thankyou for you replies can i wear jodphurs or has it GOT to be trousers coz my pony has brown and white legs ,, one of my friends said i could wear cream/ white jodphurs and a tie and a show jacket and jodphur boots and my shetland a bridle with nylon bit and a show lead rein thing
