I am taking my 2 year old Thorougbred x Oldenbrug showing in a months time. What do i need to wear and what does i need to wear? he is doing, youngstock class (2 y/o section) riding horse and hack.

For him a bitted inhand bridle. Just a plain little snaffle as the bit. And a coloured velvet browband.

For yourself - tweed jacket, shirt, tie, beige or navy trousers - the opposite colour range to your horse. Smart boots, gloves, either a beagler or a trilby.

Thank you thats a massive help. he's bay with a white star so any particular coloured velvet browband?

Red white and blue generally suits everything. I would avoid light blues as a main colour but other wise you can choose what you want
