I usually wear my Tweed jacket for showing classes (Pure Bred Arab Ridden). It is a lovely Pure Wool Greeny/Brown tweed, nice shape with brown buttons.

Unfortunately, I've lost some weight since the end of the season last year and it's now too big for me - I feel a bit swamped by it. I have ordered a new one but it hasn't arrived and I have got a show on Sunday.

The alternative is to wear my Navy Dressage jacket - the problem is it is Polyester, has Silver buttons and Pikeur written on the pocket. But it fits me perfectly and is very flattering.

Pasha is bright bay and I will be wearing lemon breeches and shirt, Navy spotted tie, Navy hat and Black boots.

Which one would you wear?

I think you will get away with the navy- if she was a hunter type it may look out of place.but as an arab / riding horse you could maybe get away with it.
If you feel more comfortable and confident in the navy then wear it- you will ride better than if you feel worng in the tweed.good luck!

tell me about it- my coloured goes to a show pratically in a shroud but still ends up green or brown (poo-ey) somehow!
have fun!

Thanks FMM I slept on it and decided the Tweed was the way to go - i'll just eat loads of bacon sarnies before my class he he

Seahorse - yes we will be at Ardingly on Sunday! I'm in the Purebred Geldings class in the morning x
