Hi all, at the end of the month I'm taking my friends fell pony to a local show, doing m&m.
I just want some general advice and turnout tips for the class please
I have a tweed jacket, a brown velvet hat with flash coloured strap or a navy velvet hat not sure which one, beige trousers and short boots.

Also is a plain hunter bridle ok, it's brown with snaffle bit.
She's only four, but so stocky it's more for experience but has good bloodlines, and parents done very well apparently.
Thanks in advance :)

Ahh yes forgot about them!
Brown gloves
Brown show cane
Brown hairnet
White shirt
purple tie
May have to change them last 2 though, what about the hat, which one? :)

Navy hat. If you have a pale yellow shirt then that would be better but at local level it doesnt matter overly much. Purple tie - ok for local but please dont tell me its a pony club tie!!! Preferably you would want a discretely standoutish tie that compliments the jacket. I usually go for either a navy blue with small red dots tie or the opposite, red with navy dots depending on what I am showing.

The jacket doesn't have any other colour on it just browns, I don't have a coloured shirt ill have to get one.
No it's not a pony club tie just and deep purple colour may get a blue one though

You'll be fine with what you've got for local level, no need to go out and buy new stuff just for that :) I would do though if you planned on going up to county/ affiliated level :) Most importantly have fun and don't forget the mascara!!!

I am really lookin forward too it, despite me only doing it twice before with my mare I think Ive caught the showing bug!:)
Thanks for your advice :)
