I have been to a couple of shows with my 10 month old miniature Shetland. She goes happily with me and I can let her
trot quite loosely as she is very willing and does not pull. We keep pace with each other. However, it seems to me that judges like the ones that are pulling hard and thus are being pulled into an outline while mine goes with her nose rather stuck out. I also think that maybe I am running too fast. Can some of you more experienced people in hand exhibitors offer any advice. I would like to think I am doing the best I can for her. Thanks for any help.

Normally I just show standards but occasionally show miniatures

Mini's are trotted out at quite a pace, i.e. As fast as I trot out dartmoors. I don't have them on a tight lead, they're not pulling against me but I do maintain a light contact.

Noses aren't necessarily tucked in but the general carriage is 'up' and together. Impulsion and bounce
