Showing my yearly

I would like to start showing my warmblood yearly but I am unsure about what to put him in. I don't really want to have to bit him as I believe it is too soon for it. I have seen people using slips but struggling to find one to buy. Any help will be appreciated thanks

The easiest way is an in hand bridle with a straight rubber bit and a 3 way coupling, so you are controlling him from the noseband.

I would think, given he is a warmblood he will have some size, you may find the excitement of a show will make him strong and a bit will be needed to keep you, him and everyone around you safe.
