Depends on the what class your in and the age of the animal.
Good confo = good movement (well thats the idea
)
But if its dangerous and has no manners at an adult age then the above is pretty much pointless in a showring anyway because you'd get told to leave the ring.
Type, depends on the class, you wouldnt have average heinz 57 in a show pony class, it would stick out like a soar thumb even if it did go like a dream. Or do you mean type as in you get differnt types within a breed? your old fashioned heads etc?
Finally Type - you can have an animal that is to type but has terrible conformation.

Am I misunderstadning Type? I'm think Big WB in a Show Hunter Class, yes it got great confo, yes it got great paces (and it may even have nice manners) but surely it couldn't be placed about an actual show hunter give that it is completely the wrong type?
If I was a judge and the wrong 'type' was in the class you would not even really start awarding marks. However as an example Donks is a Hunter type but dishes so her movement knocks her down and she is very long backed and now a dodgy hock.
would totally depend on what class i was judging so i haven't answered the poll!!! In a first ridden class i would be looking for manners as utmost importance, an inhand breed class would be more dependent on type....and it would also depend on wether i was judging at a little RC show or a couty job!!
