Is anyone else dying for the season to start??

We've only Bobbles going from home doing 153cm Working & Performance hunters and I've given over the ride to my brother but the anticipation is still setting in! Especially now the WH saddle has come out of storage and I've done the spending exorbinant amounts on grooming products...

We're aiming for the RDS, Cavan & the Northen Champs this year...what about everyone else?

Roll on the 1st of April and the start of the spring league!

yes im counting the days!!! got a month to get in all grooming supplies, but have the most epensive item, the new horsebox

my 153cm worker will out again this year, but with a different jockey as I am ancient (24, so could still do intermediates but don't have the time this year), so I might see you at some of the shows. Think katie wants to do more eventing/dressage/pony club this year again as well as workers. Though she will be out to try and defend her RDS equitation title.

Good luck for the season ahead, may see you at the ropes!

We're a bit south of you...though might be up for the Northern Champs

What's his name so I can keep an eye out? Mine will be the manic grey ridden by usually the only guy in a sea of girls

I am in Louth/ meath. Pony is called Ringwood Hati a bay mare ridden by a very tall 15 year old. Will keep an eye out for you, don't think we will do many of the spring league shows as she is open and will probably be doing dressage/eventing in the early spring.

Ah..mine is still eligible for Novice (just!!) so we decided to go with that for spring while him and his new rider get used to eachother in the ring. Will keep an eye for your girl

The hunter pony spring league schedule arrived in the post today so I'll have to start planning the season. I've got my gelding who's open intermediate WH and SH and a new young 158 mare (have to get her measured but think she'll get in ok), so will be juggling who to bring to shows, can only bring one as the older fella wont stay in a trailer by himself if his girlfriend goes off. My sister probably do some starter stakes on her 13 hander and also has an open 14 hander but its a bit of a jump up from starters to open 14hands so don't know if shes ready for that just yet!! Probably also aim for Cavan, had a good show up there last year with the gelding so hoping for a repeat, unfortunately cant go to RDS as they've no inter classes but might aim for small hunter with the boy or small riding horse with the mare, depend on how they're going and if I can afford outrageous entry fees!!!

Well not working hunter but the yearling inhand class .... this will be our first showing class ...not for dear missy though, shes already showed inhand at balmoral last year with mother and been on her own also, shes also been to the rds .

But all new for us , Been buying steady and hubbie is hitting the rough oops . Would be great to meet up at these shows ,i head to the rds every year to watch but hopefully this year with the luck of missy we can compete .

Definitely looking forward to do some Equitation and Working Hunter Pony classes with Castle, and will be competing at the Tullamore Show, Limerick Show etc.
