Ok, this may be a silly question! I have a welsh sec c mare who people keep telling me I should show. She is my hunting pony, I have only ever show jumped so know nothing at all about showing other than that the horses wear make up! This mare is not registered, she has a passport and that is all. We dont know her breeding. Can she still be shown at affiliated shows?

:)

For showing affiliated in the M&M classes she needs to be registered.

If you show her locally some classes accept non registered M&Ms and part breds.

If you show her as a native - no make up - strictly not allowed.

You may get away with showing her in the working hunter pony classes but she will need to be trimmed and plaited as again the M&M workers need the pony to be registered.
