Hi

Does anyone know if you could show a flea bitten grey in a coloured class? I ask because local shows seem to be including palominos and roans in these classes, as well as skewbalds, piebalds etc. My mare is grey but very strongly flecked with brown. She is an Arab and I am just looking for another class to show her in.

Depends on the rules of the show, some only accept piebald and skewbald, others also accept some or all of duns roans cremellos and palaminos I've never heard of greys being accepted unless they are coloureds who have greyed out.

no. up here we are only aloud skewbald and piebald in coloured classes. anything else doesnt count as true coloured which sucks as i have an appy as well as a coloured :(

Nope, only piebalds and skewbalds are coloureds. Some smaller shows do add other more unusual coloureds in at their own discretion, but I imagine fleabitten is too common to do this in.
