So I'm going to a local show on Saturday(my birthday :D) and I would like to know what are the rules for showing? Can I wear a martingale? What about brushing boots?? Thank you :D

I would suggest that you don't wear a martingle or brushing boots ;) Your horse, however, can do if you are doing working hunter :D For any other classes they should not be used.

For showing eveything should be as plain as plain can be really! plain cavesson bridle without flash, no martingales, no boots, no numnah however you are allowed a fitted saddle cloth, and ensure he's clean! that's it i think :D

This might help you out:

Plain caverson nose band, plain dark coloured numnah, snaffle or double bridle, NO boots or martingale. You need a show jacket, shirt and tie, beige/buff/fawn jods, long leather boots or short jod boots and GLOVES (preferably dark and plain)!

All sparkly clean and done up correctly! Enjoy :D

Thanks guys ! I'm entering Novice handler and local
Showing class!

In that case, as above, but practice your handling on the ground. Following a previous thread :D lead on the left and turn him away from you on the corners not around you. Also practice standing him up for the judge.
