Lottie is back in (semi) full work but no jumping. I want to do some veteran showing classes with her this summer, I have some qualifiers for something national near me (sorry, never been in to showing so no idea what, but it sounds interesting!).
I have recently put her in a treeless saddle as I've been through loads of tree'd ones properly fitted and she brushes and stumbles in them, yet bareback she is happy and moves freely, as she does in the treeless. My back lady thinks it's just her preference for a softer saddle as she gets old. Nothing wrong with her back but their skin and muscles get more sensitive apparently, she is 31 this spring!
Will I be able to show her in the treeless? She misbehaves a little at shows (think 3 year old just backed!) so I don't expect to get very far but she would love to join in. Will I be allowed to use it and will I get penalised?
