Hi Guys,
Just looking for a bit of help trying to find a showing show (or something) in October (not the first weekend though) Ive hunted the internet and feel useless as cant find anything!
I know they will be a bit sparse this time of year but surely there must be one somewhere!
Now the story....
Long story (tried) to cut short I am helping my friend with her little un, who has had a bit of a rocky education (must stress NOT at all my friends fault) the person paid to break her messed everything up and left my friend with a very nervous & panicky horse when it came to mounting & general riding. I find it really incredible - such damage could be done in such a short space of time. Unfortunately my friend felt the brunt of these nerves and had a few awkward/painful falls (also adding she's an amazing rider - just lacking confidence at the mo & we all know how that can make us feel).
Anyway . 4 months down the line, we now are now confident and making good progress and we are pretty confident that a walk and trot dressage test is well within our capabilities. We have planned to do this in November.
Due to my friends confidence still needing encouragement we would like to take her to a showing show first (in hand) so she can absorb the atmosphere & hopefully then her or me can get on her afterwards once she has settled.
As this is her first outing we ideally dont want to travel too far we are currently in Chelmsford.
Does anyone know of any showing at all please???
