My mare has a small area of white hairs on her back leg, obviously due to an old injury. Does anyone have any tips on how to make it less noticable? She is chestnut.

get some horse makeup - Supreme make some - I also cover a white mark on Donkey with black non permanent hair colour first.

Thanks. Perfect. I had no idea you could get "Horse make up"

Oh wow, do you think that the brown stuff would cover up clipper marks?

Might whizz to tack shop after work see if i can get some for Blue as the clipper marks have gone from his white bum but not from the brown bits!

Make sure you try it on a small area first - I have one horse that is really sensitive, and it blistered her skin (luckily only tested it on a spot about the size of a 1p piece) I have used the same brand of colourant on other horses with no reaction. I tend to use the 'Nice'n'Easy' range as they seem to match my horses colour's the best.
