Showing unregistered pony??

Just a quick q. as my mum keeps going on at me about showing my Welsh Sec A gelding (Dimples!) now he's moving onto the yard because they hold competitions regularly, including showing.

He's definitely welsh sec A, 16yrs old now, no idea about his breeding though.

Is it possible to show him? Would only be the odd in-hand class, think they'd throw me out of ridden classes seeing as I'd either have to ride with jockey length stirrups or with rollerskates... :p

Any ideas??

Yup, do it, he's lovely! Most local shows either have a seperate unregistered mountain and moorland class, or allow unreg. in with reg. You could also do best condition and at some shows(depending on age limit), veteran. Go for it!
 
Ditto - he is gorgeous! :) He'd be fine if its just local, as above, they usually hold unregistered classes too (some of them dont even classify that though, and they rarely ever check in my experience!!) I reckon he'll do really well :D
