My boy is a section D x TB and will be 20 next year. He has been the most fantastic horse competing successfully in BS, Dressage and most recently BE. Sadly, I now feel that the time has come where he would like an easier life as although he still enjoys his work i feel he doesnt have the same stamina as he used to. Therefore, I am toying with the idea of attempting showing with him (first time for him and me)! Just wanted to get folks opinions on him and if they think that this would be a worthwhile future career path for him. Have included few action shots from this year.

I think you should give it a go. You would be able to enter him into a few different classes like his height class, ridden horse or veteran classes. He is lovely. I do love a chestnut :D

I think go for it his very lovely, there is also a class you qualify for that they hold at olympia every year might be something nice to aim for, I also think the royal London show do classes for veteran horses, good luck x
