What do you think of this mare - for showing purposes? She was showjumped (BSJA) and competed a lot at xc in her younger days with her previous owner. She's had some time off (a couple of weeks due to bad weather - so will be hacked and schooled gently before any shows) but thinking of bringing her back out for the season. She's 27 so will be doing the ridden veteran, inhand veteran and best rider classes.
A few people have said why not let her just relax and enjoy her twilight years but she is one veteran who loves her work and loves nothing more than going for a good blast across an open field! In fact she's alot quicker than our other horses and quite quirky to ride. She will be retired when she is ready, as long as she wants to keep working thats how it will be
She was shown a few years ago and did quite well. It will only be local level. For the classes she is entering will she need a 'blingy' velvet showing browband or will this make her lump look worse?
