Hi. I hope someone can help!!! I have an 11 month sport horse filly and hope to take her to her first in hand show in 3 weeks. I am unsure if i am required to show her in a bitted in- hand bridle, or an un-bitted in- hand bridle. Also, how many plaits is she required to have, and do i trim her ears ect and clip the tail end of her mane off where it has been rubbed by the rugs?

Filly slip (i.e. unbitted) is fine for a filly. Regarding plaits, it's hard to say without seeing your filly, I'd guess 9 to 11, plus the forelock. Too many looks silly IMO. I wouldn't trim the bottom of her mane, in my experience it just gets shorter each time you plait :) Definitely trim ears though. Good luck!
