One of my horses has arthritis in her front legs (did a lot of driving when she was younger with previous owner!)

She is now about 15/16 and I want to try and make life more interesting for her. When she was first diagnosed, the vet gave me bute to give her and said to ride her as often as I could to keep her joints moving.

She is a stunning little horse, and I thought, could I do a little bit of showing with her? I have never done showing before so don't really know much about it nor the rules.

Hmm competing on bute is really a no-no all round affiliated.
As for unaffil i dunno, guess that comes down to morals :S

if she is ok without bute how about veteran showing?
