Bruce, my new horse is a lovely mover…I was thinking about doing some showing with him in the summer but, as I have done no showing since I was ickle and riding a pony…what classes can I take him in for? He is 17.2 M/W bay gelding x

Hunter classess - working hunter classess?? Think he's to big for Riding Horse classess.

Theres no upper height limit on large riding horses.

Well when you can (try asking SN_B - she's a whizz at that sort of thing!) post them & ask FMM to have look. She shows at the highest levels & is kind enough to pass on advice etc to forum members.

if you just want to do local you can also do style & apperance and riding horse, best turned out etc we have a big show catering for all sizes as a stp between county and local level with proper judges
