I recently bought an Irish Sports Horse who has rain scald on his back.
Just wondering what showing classes I could enter that he wouldn't be judged by the rain scald. Would he be alright to do a working hunter class?

You would be fine in workers, if your horses jumps clear at a decent pace between jumps and does a nice short show and shows a gallop and you turn him out well im sure you'll be fine. Just do what you can to get rid of the rain scald, would this be at local level? If so i dont think the rain scald will be too much of a problem if its not too severe.

Ok thanks, yeah the rain scald isnt that bad at the moment im trying to clear it up as much as possible.
