am posting this for a friend - if going to a ponies uk qualifying show what do you need to join before hand to enable you to qualify if you are lucky enough to be placed, i havent a clue as do not show, all helpful tips please.
 
Maybe the breed society the horse is part bred of or type ie. riding pony?
I can't see on the website that it says they need to be a member of anything. Not like the coloured which need to be with CHAPS.
 
not sure...when i did it, you went to show and you can get a card from sec office which judge signs in ring and then you have so long to join?! Think you'd have to be registered partbred to enter tho!
 
thanks for all replies, you can apparently sent off to puk for a summer ticket for ten pounds that lasts all season and you have 7 days to become a member if you qualify, sounds ok to me, at least if you come last you havent wasted loads of money
 
Good luck to qualify! I managed to qualify last year but didnt end up going
