I have a 2 year old lightweight cob, he has a lovely long mane and feathers, i'm hoping once i've started getting used to a bit i can take him in hand showing, however his coat isn't the best quality, i've heard that vegetable oil can help create a shine to the coat and many show people use it.
Do you have any suggestions on feed that can help improve his coat? He is currently being fed happy hoof and suregrow.

Thanks :)

Swap happy hoof for spillers conditioning fiber or if he really needs happy hoof half it with conditioning fibre it gives a shiny coat but doesn't make them fat
