17hh, 5yrs, mare. dutch warmblood. Harcos/narcos 11 bred.
very green. lose schooled over 1.40m spreads, under saddle 1.10m.
decent paces, not good enough for pure dressage , but would make cracking eventer, potential Grand prix sj.when excited she can dish slightly.

as you may or may not know Narcos (viramas sires, sire) was an olympic showjumper and was especialy good at high jump classes (dont ask me to spell priusance) clearing over 2.20m repeatedly.
she has got this amazing power and scope but her technique is a bit like her dads, slightly lose in front and doenst bother rounding unles the fence is over 1.30m.
she is very bold and has jumped first time of asking time walls, water, ditches, scary fillers etc. flatwork leaves a bit to be desired and she can play up and throw little bucks when bored. she is very cleaver and picks things up very quick;y.
im having to sell her due to having no time during the week to ride, and she is not the type of horse that likes being ignored.

im thinking of £7000 to include her made to measure sj saddle.

Is this price about right? and where is the best place to advertise her? i am thinking of horse deals?

my sister is setting up a website with photos and videos is this a good idea?

Possibly more like 9000. Front end will tidy up with age and dishing improve with strength. Depends how bad the flatwork is and what level of rider could take her on

oh 9000K you interested? (he he)

flat work OK, starting to shorten/lengthen, will move away from leg brilliantly, she can "bounce" canter for about 4 strides before bucking and falling back to trot (she finds it very hard at the mo)

she is still gangly and finds cantering on 15m circles difficult. but warmbloods dont tend to mature till 7.

rider wize, she is sharp and can be spooky, but is not difficult to ride or sit to.

she does dog legs, bounces (4), tripples, doubles fine at about 1.10m. bounces at 2.6"
I ride extreamly well schooled horses so to me she feels very baby but is better schooled than a happy hacker type.

i brought her due to her presence. i have never seen a horse that commanded my attention so much - wow!
she can be bolshy and bosy. will nip at strangers.

stunning conformation.

Have you competed her at all? does she have any kind of BSJA record?
My friend purchased 2 very similar sounding warmbloods as 4&5 years old for £10k & £12k but they all ready had a record, and to be honest warmbloods are a nightmare till they are a bit older but then usually turn into amazing horses, I purchased one of them of my friend once he had matured!
If you havent already I would really recommend getting her out competing asap - if you think she's ready for it!
Sounds exactly what im looking for, but its not bonus time yet !
How long have you had her? how did you acquire her etc ?

I think you would be lucky to get £7k, mainly because she is green, a bit spooky and sharp and hasn't really done anything. The sort of person who would buy her is a pro and they can pick your sort of horse up cheaper from the continent.

Depends how quick you want to sell her. If you want decent money for her get her out jumping and doing DCs at Newcomers.

Good Luck

I'd agree. Until she has some form BSJA then i'd say about 5k max...and only that if she is a real eyecatcher.

There are plenty of good horses with form going for less

She'd be a bit behind for a 5 yo competition wise for age classes etc but depending on how you look at it that could be no bad thing.
I think its fine to be asking 7k - whether you accept less is a different story obviously.
if you were only asking 5 i'd think there was something wrong with it!
ets - and as for the playing up/spookyness - everyone knows the crazy ones are the best
