showjumpers trying eventing

i know that not even in a million years would we ever see a top showjumper trying eventing but wouldn't it be great if they did!
i've always thought this, but obviously they would never take one of their own horses as they are to high value in their own sport and no point risking it, but i think it would be fantastic to see names like any whittaker or ben maher having a go at novice or something like that!
does anyone else agree?

Vere Phillips is a pretty good showjumper and he did very well when he tried eventing

I think Shane Breen has said he would like to go eventing but would want to go in at Novice/Intermediate level and doesn't have the time/inclination to get qualified at PN level first.

I think at the top level of showjumping the rewards are too great to risk the swap , Scott brash can win 50k in one class in just one weekend in a season.
