Showjumping Attire

I'm with Talavera....no bling for me thanks.

I jump in a green tweed coat, creamy yellow breeches, blue spotted stock or white showjumping shirt depending on season, navy velvet hat, black long boots.

I think it looks very smart. Always navy or black saddlecloths too....I only own navy, black, brown and white ones LOL

Navy jacket with gold pipping, navy gpa hat, beige breeches, and a shirt, paddock boots and tredstep gaiters.. as far as horses go... anything thats clean im afraid... im not fussy !!! ;o)

Although have recently started using 1/2 sheepskin pad and sheepskin girth cover as the old boy is getting boney in his old age !!!! ha ha bless him !!!!!

navy tailored jacket with baby pink lining and collar, jw velvet hat, navy, show shirt everything else is normal. sometimes wear a navy jump jacket if it freezing!

i jump newcomers- 1.30/1.35m

Fee Fee do you have those funky race driver style boots? They look so comfy! Unfortunately I'm pretty old school with my turnout so it's the long black boots, white breeches, high collar shirt and charcoal grey with black and silver collar jacket. I've also gone even less out of fashion by retiring my GPA hat after a nasty unscheduled choking incident and gone back to the nice safe velvet covered Charles Owen number (like the JW one but I can't be doing with the sigs over everything hehe!). Doesn't matter what you look like as long as you're smart(ish). Bling is def for the juniors, though we have one particular senior rider in our area who has more bling than Barbie (and did before it was ever the 'in' thing lol!)

I wear a blue and gold pro tector, Electric blue joshua jones showjumping jacket.
Ariat boots and sarm hipique breeches, and a stock shirt with collar.

My horse wears a JW mexican jump bridel with clips a blue and gold strechy breastplate and black ideal saddle. Black stud girth and i have 2 say i do wear a bit of bling! But i think i'm alowed 2 in junior BSJA you see :)

my daughter (18) wear JW new style jacket with anything top underneath as you cant see it, white Sarm Hipique breeches with pink piping round pockets. horse wears navy numnah with pink piping and name in pink stitching and also pink bling browband all tack and boots etc are black

I wear a BSJA approved jacket (the casual ones, ie. not a show jacket) and I wear whatever I want underneath since I keep it zipped right up, nobody can see underneath it. I compete up to 1.20m BSJA.

JenifierB- I think i may know the rider you are talking about (not personally just have seen her!) she looks like a disco ball!! does she have a black/dark bay horse? if its the same person she has (i know ive counted!) diamante
hat
scrunchie
gloves
numnah
shirt
jacket
bridle
strirrups
spurs
her boots!
i think she is about 30 as well!!

I wear a tweed jacket, blue and white spotted stock, brown boots chaps gloves and crash hat with a black silk. I often stick out like a sore thumb, especially when I take Andy to pony classes - they are always very glam compared to me! Not that I fancy being that glam though.

I do up to Newcomers BS atm :)

I like to protest a bit that I'm not a SJer, just an eventer out practising ;).

So it's shirt and tie, tweed coat, dark beige breeches and sometimes even brown boots . I wouldn't look out of place doing open workers.... And that's up to Foxhunter so yes, I do stand out a bit :p.

On a very hot day I have been known to wear my black jacket (a very lightweight Pikeur one) but still would have a cream stock and beige breeches with it.

-Black velvet hat
-Black showjumpig jacket with black velvet collar
-White showjumping shirt - no need for a tie or stock...it does up really tight and high around the neck (turtle neck type but obviously in shirt form) and has pretty-ness on shirt...lol - its smart anyway.
-White jodphurs
-Black Ariat boots
-Hair net, black gloves, black whip

horses all have black tendon boots and usually a navy, black or white square numnah on :)

I compete at the lower levels at the moment (BN and Disc BSJA) - but have done newcomers previously, and hope to get back to that level during the summer xx
