My 5yo isn't ready to compete just yet but I want to be prepared - I have a chestnut mare and not sure what our colour should be for showjumping.
I was thinking a white saddle cloth with either a black jacket/black stirrups or a royal blue jacket/blue stirrups.
Also are there still unofficial rules regarding red and blue jackets on non-professional riders? Or do people not care anymore? And would blue look OK on a chestnut? I don't know if black would look too basic and blend in with everyone else?
