Show jumping stallions sorry to confuse you thought you might like to take a look at the post a couple of pages back about sj stallions.

I really like your mare. How is she bred on the dams side?

From the De Wiemselbach stallions, i would suggest Ustinov, a really athletic stallion by Libero H out of a nimmerdor mare or Numero Uno who is proven as a sire so good from a selling point of view.

From the Schockemohle stallions i really like the up and coming stallion Centadel. He's very scopey with a fantastic pedigree. There is also Balou Du Rouet. I am personally not a big fan of his but he is very popular at the moment.

I think Luidam would suit and his offspring are very saleable.

If you are looking for a British based stallion then i would suggest Super Trooper De Ness.

Hope this helps.

thanks everyone some good suggestions along the lines of what i would pick.I do like Singapore,Centadel,i love i tryed to use him last year 3 attempts but the mare did not take. i was very gutted to say the least,Super T D Ness looks nice too

And there is http://www.sporthorse-data.com/d?i=10553625 who could suit this mare. Then as mentioned in previous thread there is the Billy stud & High Offley Stud. The one thing a stud should be able to do is tell you which of their stallions would best suit your mare.

Hi, she lokks a good type, has she done anything herself? Do you know what strengths when ridden you need from the stallion? On the picture I would say warrior too!! He's just had a 1st and 2nd at Royal Windsor.!
Pls pm me if you would like any more details.

very intersting breeding, how many people noticed she is from the same motherline as Mr Blue?!

As for stallions, i'd be focusing on the commercial value of stallions and their offspring. Numero Uno throws some stunning offspring and combines a world class pedigree and has children competing internationally. Another option would be Calvaro again bringing a world class pedigree but also an olympic stallion with more size. Plus Calvaro out of a voltaire mare from the same dame line as Mr Blue... Whats not commercial about that?!!!

I'm working at PS at the moment and I wouldnt use Balou on her, I dont think he is the right make and shape much as i adore him and his offspring (we have a superb young stallion by him in our barn who i would steal in a heartbeat given the chance)

one stallion here that i didnt have so much on my radar before but now I am seriously impressed by him is Califax. I think he has a hind end that would suit your mare, he has the most wonderful tempermanet and oozes quality. he is quite a tall horse and very powerful mbut not too heavy as there is Julio mariner in the mother side for a bit of blood.

I havent seen Centadel out yet.

Volatis, I'd be really interested to hear what your thoughts are on Centadel once you have seen him out. I really like this stallion and I'm very close to choosing him for one of my mares but in the video of him on the PS website he looks under pressure and tense which results in him losing the rhythm in his canter. He does looks much more relaxed at the stallion show with a female rider though.

Back to OP. If you are looking for a tall stallion that isn't too heavy, then there is the lovely stallion Verdi.
