went to weston lawns today, planning on doing the british novice and disco. It was mine and taras first affiliated show together, and my first senior show- was so scary lol, all the big horses!
anyway, the rain clouds drew in just as i got her tacked up- typical! so she was abit mad in the warm up for a while as the wind was getting her abit hyped up, but she settled down. she warmed up nicely-ish, but couldnt really do much as the warm up was too crowded!
we went in the british novice and she jumped what was possibly the nicest round she has ever jumped! i didnt go to win the class, i wanted a nice steady double clear, but Tara doesn't "do" steady, and although we rode into all the corners and didnt do any tight turns, we still went fast and clear!
turns out there where only about 4 double clears, and i had won! was sooo chuffed, our first affill class together and we won!
we didnt do the disco cos it was raining, late and we didnt want to push it as she had done so well and i needed that confidence boost so we left it on a good note
