Hello!
I was just asking for a few opinions on two things :
One - in a showjumping class (approx 70cm, local show), if it is not specified as a timed round - does that mean a clear round is more important or...?
Secondly - my horse is an ex trotter who is unable to canter (without falling). She has an incredibly fast trot with a very neat jump and extremely tight turns - do you think we would be fast enough in a small showjumping class? I have no doubt in her but know we will have a disadvantage to others.
Thank you ever so much!

Normally... If you jump clear in the first round you will jump a second round (a jump off) against the clock around a shortened course. Some shows you continue straight after your first round, others you go back in for the jump off after everybody has jumped.
Couldn't say if you'd be at a disadvantage or not, but I would rather suspect so (just guessing). But by all means go and have fun 🙂
