Shows around Exeter?

A friend is looking to take her weanling out next year as a yearling to a couple of local shows before competing at County level but being as she is new to showing, wants to know what shows around her area (Post Code EX2) there are which would be nice and friendly to start a youngster (and herself) off with.

She doesn't come onto this forum herself so I said I'd find out for her - knowing that you will all come up with suggestions. Thanks in advance.

theres tons of local shows on, keep an eye on riding diary and i think the other is equine tourisum (i went and got you the links) from your post code, theres shows on in Dunsford, mortonhampsted etc aswell.

crealy have shows on run by outside people, and also exe equestrian club have a couple of fun shows.

Thanks to everyone and thanks as well to those who PMd offering a life to shows with theirs if she needs it. I know she hasn't got her own transport so it might come in handy. At least she knows the little one travels well - her first journey was an 8 hour drive and she thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - all on her own - no sedigel etc.
