Shows, Leeds

Hi All

I have recently bagged myself a lovely 15.2hh 5yr old horse who is a little on the very green side. Does anybody know of any shows in Leeds (or near by) that I could take him to? Any at all - even a local riding school/livery yard show? I don't have a trailer but presently this is not a worry for me as i'm sure I can sort something out. I'm not expecting him to manage to function as he's a bit of a scaredy cat, so "competing" is going to be ambitious!!

Thanks nomad - he's very green for his age. Been ridden by a young girl who wants to spend 10 minutes galloping round the school, get off and go home.

josiesmithuk - yes please!!! He's such a geek but I think the experience would benefit him no end.

scarcroft equestrian centre hold their own shows harewood combined training group and nidd valley riding club do a lot around leeds,harewood,wetherby.Garforth and district riding club,astley lane swillington most of the events are on google

ce dressage group do shows often have stuff going on at Middleton Riding centre. good facilities there
