Should Cavallo and Pikeur breeches shrink when washed at 30 degrees on a hand wash cycle? Or have I put on weight due to lack of riding??! I was told they shouldn't shrink.

If shrunk, anything you can do to un-shrink them?! My Cavallos are now so tight they give me a stomach ache when I ride

I wash my pikeurs at 40 on the usual coloured cycle and they haven't shrunk. Haven't washed my new beige ones tho. hope they don't shrink!

You surely would have noticed with other clothes if you have put on weight. What size were/are they?

I wash both my Pikeur and Cavallo's on a normal 40 degree wash and they haven't shrunk at all.
They have got a bit tighter recently but so have all of my other clothes

Oh dear must just be me then lol. Well I find they're ok when standing but when sitting (or riding) they really dig in at the front, they're quite high waisted I guess which doesn't help. They are 22". I have tried a 24" before but they were really baggy around the leg and bum! Not a good look (unless I shrink them!)

When my other clothes feel tight I just blame it on the drier
