Shy had his first ever, proper swim today !

And I got totally soaked !!! leather boots, jods, but managed to keep dry in bum area as my mobile phone was there

He loved it !! he went right out into the middle, having a good swim about, but then poo'ed into the water, and tried to turn into it to swim, so that had to be averted quickly This was after a hot hack along the bridle paths.

It's the best thing in the world swimming with your horse, I'm so glad he loved it too I feel very priviledged to own such a fab boy.

How fun! The farm I used to ride at had a little lake and we used to take the horses in there on hot summer days to cool off - they loved it!

next stop is to take him down bareback and me in a cossie

The little girl who I took out with me is nervous of going in, but I'll have her sorted soon. She has to learn how it feels having those legs gently paddling along, but preferably not into ****.....

Blimey !!! If you "swear" it automatically puts stars in for you !! Hahahaha

Fantastic!! If your horse (and you) like swimming go to the beach!! Mine loves rolling in the sand after a swim! Its a great feeling!

Ah to be near a beach !!! I would so love that, only ever rode on the beaches in Australia.
