Shy was clipped today..

and his coat filled a whole bin bag - no wonder he's been sweating in the lightest rug !! Had to put my girth up a few holes, bless him. ;)

Awwww :D

Should we start a "your clipped ponies" thread as I was thinking of putting up a photo of Dolly with her first ever (with us!) clip!!! :D

I had my horse clipped last week, full clip legs on was my thoughts. Instead his legs went and so did his mane. He was a hairy cob, he looks like a completely different horse. I alway said not to hog as I liked a long mane and feathers, but I love his new look :)

He's had the lot off, apart from his legs, head and tash - obviously mane and tail untouched. He looks fantastic, gleaming, and his freezemark shows up really well too. I used a sponge to get the grease out afterwards, and three buckets of water, and it was MINGING !!

i think he thinks he's having a good groom as he just stands there enjoying it. he must feel so much better for having the lot off as he's ridden every day- talk about a double coat. Will try and get some pics.

Just sorting out winter rugs and pyjamas now - you'll love it when I put a photo of him in his disney snuggy hood :D
