'Oh my lord!' sweetheart, you're pony is in a perfect condition! Ignore this ignorant girls who don't know what they're talking about! It's your horse and if he loves been fed then feed him. Even if it will cause him to become fat and have health problems in further life. And the leaflets? Well, put them in the bin! You seem like a responable owner who know's what they're doing. Who needs advice and help from others when you're a pro?

*Rolls eyes*

I've been on H&H for awhile now and I keep hearing the expression "Troll" what the heck does this mean. All I can picture (not being rude to Angrybird) is a little green troll with warts on its nose to start rolling across the page lol.

Why do we use the troll expression?

adios

Pretty spot on :D

A Troll is someone who trolls through the forums, causing, if we're lucky, just mischief and mayhem; if we're unlucky then it's lain and heartache.

Way too much food for too little work. I would feed hay only for this amount of work and this type of pony. That is what most my horses get except the in foal mare.

Hay and grass, they are fat enough on this. If you ride every day, for more than 40 minutes a day, then a hard feed may be required.

My hard feeds mostly consist of equal parts green chaff/white chaff/ plus oats or pellets/ plus small amount race horse bran and mineral supplements (dolomite/sulphur/seaweed meal/msm or glucosamine). So even the hard feeds are not that hard.
