side fastening breeches

I show in a cutaway jacket and wear Tallyho Vienna breeches which have a side zip.. I am sure that these aren't being made anymore. Can anyone tell me of another brand of breeches which fasten at the side please? I am more than middle-aged and no longer have a flat tum!! A flat front is a bit more flattering and I love my jacket so don't want to change it.
 
the old hunting-kit tailor in Market Harborough used to make them, not sure if he's still around. can get further details from a friend though, she had a few pairs of his.
i had a squiz about, found a place in the U.S. that makes to measure and will ship, might be worth emailing them.

i think i'm going to get a pair of their arctic ones, and they give an option on them of side or front zip, for example.
 
thank you for your interest. Tallyho have been taken over by Horseware and their catalogue does not feature the Vienna breeches any more.In USA most brands have side fastenings including Dublin. Dublin don't appear to make them for the English market though. I am reluctant to send to America.I once bought a pair of gloves and they cost more in shipping than the gloves cost. BIG shock. Still recovering!!
 
Would you consider jods? Dublin supafit jods are available in a side zip style

I bought some Kerrit breeches from an American site. Cost of shipping, two pairs of breeches and a top came to well under £90. They were pull on I think though. Very flattering on the figure as no false zip etc. Just sit nice and flat over the tummy

They were Kerrit Sit tights too. You really are glued to the saddle when wearing them. So much so, it's hard to dismount!

Just to let you know Patches I did look at Kerrit breeches on the internet. I found a site in this country which does endurance items. It is khazanequestrian.co.uk. They do sound good especially with the flat tummy bit!
