Side saddle lessons

Hi

Does anyone know of anywhere in Kent that I can have side saddle lessons? I currently do not have a horse so would need to use instructors/riding stables. I have looked on the side saddle instructors website but they do not have horses that I can use for the lessons.

Any suggestions would be greatly received.

Email the Side Saddle Association secretary@sidesaddleassociation.co.uk and they should be able to point you in the right direction. You come under area 8 with Mrs A wells as area 8 chairman. Her contact details are on the SSA website. Lots of places do offer horses to learn to ride on, they did when i learnt.

Rarely do you turn up with your own horse for a first go because of A = getting a saddle to fit, B - just because we can ride 'normal' we can't all ride side saddle and C - our horses dont always take too kindly to the balance strap.
