Side saddle Stirrup leather help!

Hi,

I am new to learning to ride side saddle and have acquired a side saddle but it dosent have a stippup leather, i was wondering if any one could provide some advice on what type I would need from the following pictures

Can't access your links. However, rather than risk getting poor advice, why not either check with your instructor or contact the Side Saddle Association who would be pleased to help you

I can't see your link either. When I used to ride side saddle, I remember Betty Skelton telling me that if you bought a saddle without it's original stirrup leather your best bet would be to use a regular leather and a safety iron.

Dose anyone know where I could put the pictures on the internet so that you could access them? They are currently on my drive on my computer, I tried to add them to facebook as it was a web url. The insert picture on the thred post wouldnot let me upload a picture?

You need to have them hosted on something like photobucket (www.photobucket.com) which is free to do, you just need to set up an account.

Looking at that it looks like a martin and martin, but I could be wrong. I think looking at that arrangement a normal stirrup leather with a sidesaddle safety stirrup would be your best bet
