Well, its warmed up enough today & for the next day or so, the mud has dried too.... so have done the dreadful deed & after giving big fuzzy tea, lobbed right back out again (in smaller paddock with a shelter for overnight). Little fuzzy has been out all winter anyway, with large shelter to scoff hay/snuggle in if wished.
Might only be out at night till Sunday as rain (lots) forecast here from mid afternoon, but SO good to know that I do not 'feel' I have to rush down the next 2 mornings
